What is this magical Epiitalis ingrediant you ask?? Epiitalis is an exclusive plant seed oil patented for its cartilage repair and pain relief properties. It stimulates the production of healthy cartilage
Everyone is asking how is this product different to 4 Cyte granules? 4cyte granules have been around for some time and are proven to work, the granules and this liquid gel are not the same. The 4cyte granules contain Epiitalis but they also contain Abalone, NZ Green lipped Mussel and Marine Cartilage. The 4Cyte Epiitalis Liquid gel only contains Epiitalis and it contains a much higher concentration of it then the granules.
How to Use

Gel 4cyte is a cap sealed bottle with a dose indicating marked syringe included in the box.
-
To administer the liquid 4cyte shake the bottle well, prior to removing the cap lid.
-
Remove the cap lid and push the syringe into the bottle opening.
-
Once the syringe is securely in the bottle, invert the bottle, holding it upside down (much like you would for children's Panadol etc).
-
Slowly pull the plunger of the syringe back, allowing the liquid to free flow into the syringe until you reach your desired dose. E.g. 1.5ml.
-
Return the bottle to an upright position and remove the syringe from the opening. Replace the cap back onto the bottle.
-
Depress the syringe of gel into your dog's food bowl (you can mix it in to either wet or dry food).
Please note for liquid gel 4cyte administration:
-
If you happen to get an air bubble in your syringe, and cannot accurately draw up the dose you need, you can depress the syringe back into the bottle (while holding it upside down still) to push the air bubble back into the bottle and then redraw until your required dose.
-
If you are comfortable to do so, you are able to administer this liquid directly into your dog's mouth. The easiest way to do so is not coming directly front on, trying to get the syringe past their front teeth. If you gently push the syringe just behind their biggest tooth on the side of their mouth (looks like a big cigar cutter!) it should cause them to pry their mouth open and give you enough room to quickly wiggle the syringe in and depress it into their mouth.
-
It is advised to clean the syringe after each use.
Warnings:
- This product is not an alternative treatment for acute joint inflammation
- Not to be given during pregnancy and lactation
- Effect on breeding animals, renal and hepatic function has not been studied
- Not to be given to animals with an allergy to seafood
FAQ for 4cyte
Is 4CYTE Safe for Older Dogs?
Yes, 4CYTE is generally safe for all dogs, including the older ones. There are many health benefits for older dogs to be given 4cyte. 4cyte is known to alleviate symptoms associated with ageing, painful joints. 4cyte may be what your dog needs to be more comfortable and agile in their older years.
How Much 4CYTE Should I Give My Dog?
4CYTE can be bought as granules or gel, and each type has its own way of being given:
- Granules: These are sprinkled on your dog's food. The 4cyte granules have the added benefit of marine ingredients including Green lipped mussel, Abalone and Marine cartilage which are all well known for their ability to improve joint health. These granules are very small and are easily added to your dogs food and are accepted very well. Dogs love the fishy taste
- Gel: The 4cyte liquid gel has a cream flavour. Shown in Melbourne University Clinical trial to have 100% palatability for trial. It is simple to add to food or give direct into the mouth via the syringe that comes with it.
Make sure to follow the pack instructions or ask us how much your dog needs. The dosage is based on their weight.
How Long Does a Tub of 4CYTE Last?
For a medium-sized dog (about 11 to 20 kg), a 100g tub of 4CYTE granules usually lasts around 120 days if you're using the maintenance dose. The dosage of 4cyte does go by the dogs weight so if your dog is lighter or heavier than the dose will be different.
Can 4CYTE Prevent Joint Problems?
Although 4CYTE is often used to help with existing joint issues, it can also help prevent problems in the future. By keeping cartilage healthy, it could delay joint issues, especially in dogs that are very active or are from larger breeds.
Does 4CYTE Contain Glucosamine?
No, 4CYTE doesn’t have glucosamine, which is commonly found in other joint supplements. Instead, it focuses on the benefits of Epiitalis.
